The Atelier

Made with you, from the first cut

Every sínch piece starts as fabric on a table before it's anything else. Here's what goes into each category — the materials, the feel, the reason we chose them, and exactly how each one sits on a body.

Basics

Soft, second-skin

Viscose is a regenerated cellulose fiber, made from wood pulp rather than petroleum — lower rigidity than cotton gives it better drape. Cotton spandex is used where fiber memory matters most, holding shape at necklines and seams.

  • viscose: plant-derived, lower rigidity, better drape
  • cotton: higher shape retention
